Sattvik Sprouted Methi Salad
Methi Seeds are bitter in taste and used widely in Indian cooking as a common spice for the aromatic tadkas. INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup sprouted methi seeds
- 1 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 tblspn sesame oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tblspn dry roasted mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp salt or as per taste
- pinch of hing
- 2 chopped green chillies
- 1 sprig curry leaves chopped finely
- 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts
- Add the sprouted methi seeds, cucumber, coriander leaves, coconut to a bowl and mix.
- In a cup add oil, lemon juice, mustard seeds, salt, hing, green chillies, curry leave and mix well.
- Add the dressing to the salad mix mix mix
- Garnish with dry roasted peanuts.
- Enjoy !!!
